Keep your circle kind.
QuietLink Community Rules · 18 September 2026
QuietLink is for adults who agree to communicate. An invitation is not permission to harass another person. Respect boundaries and stop contacting someone who asks you to stop.
Content and behavior we do not allow
- Illegal content, credible threats, harassment, hateful abuse or encouragement of violence.
- Sexual exploitation, sexual content involving children, or intimate images shared without consent.
- Spam, scams, impersonation, or attempts to steal credentials or private information.
- Sharing material you have no right or consent to share, including copyrighted work or another person's private information.
These rules also apply to display names, profile photos and friendship-code sharing. Use only a photo you have permission to use; do not impersonate another person. A friendship invitation creates a relationship between existing accounts, not permission to share private material or ignore a block.
Take control
Use a person's options in People or a conversation to Block or Report them. A block prevents new messages and calls in both directions; it does not erase existing history. You can review blocked people in Settings. A report includes your username, the reported account, reason and explanation. Reports are visible to your administrator and are not anonymous. Private messages and attachments are never attached automatically.
How concerns are handled
Administrators should review safety reports promptly, assess the explanation, disable abusive accounts where appropriate and record the outcome. Reports do not notify emergency services. For a safety concern, or if your administrator cannot help, contact snk.spears@gmail.com. Do not send credentials or unnecessary private content. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Limits of automated checks
The iOS app performs a limited on-device check for some explicit threats, exploitation and targeted abuse before sending text or custom notification wording. This check cannot detect every harmful message and does not scan attachments or calls. Encrypted conversations are not automatically read by the service. Reporting and blocking remain important.
Privacy and consent
Do not assume view-once means impossible to copy. Recipients may use another camera or capture content outside QuietLink. Ask for consent before sharing sensitive material. Your four-digit chat PIN offers limited resistance to guessing; keep it private.
